Grand Sierra Resort
The Grand Sierra Resort provides many things you can do to make your experience fun. The hotel has an escape room located on the lower level. If you’re somebody who likes solving puzzle, give this a try. On the same level you can also find a place called Sensology. Sensology tests all of your senses, touch, sight, taste, smell and hearing. If you like a little friendly competition, check this one out. You can also take in a movie in their movie theater or hit the arcade. If that isn’t your thing, the hotel also has a bowling alley, swimming pool, fitness center and spa. For golf enthusiast you can visit the driving range which is on property or take a short drive to one of serval golf courses.
The hotel also has a big casino where you can play slot machines or tables and hopefully luck is on your side. If you happen to get hungry, there’re a variety of choices from grab-and-go snacks to fine dining. The rooms are also pretty nice with some great views and the room service is excellent. If you’re out and about the employees will come and tidy up the room for you so when you come back it’s nice and neat. There is much fun to be had at the GSR. Peppermill Resort and Casino
The Peppermill is located closer to downtown Reno and offers the convince of being close to stores, restaurants and bowling. The Casino is a good size offering a variety of gambling options. They have beautiful swimming pools along with cabanas and food and beverage service. You can also check out their restaurants which offer a variety of choices. One of my favorite things to do is hang out at the arcade which has a lot of different games and a 80’s retro room with orginal video games like Pac-Man, Galiga, Centipede and Donkey Kong. The rooms are great with some nice views that might make you feel the need to take a photo or two. Peppermill is a great place to stay year-round.
